Overview
In addition to handling first and third party property claims, the firm also handles major subrogation suits to recover monies for clients.
In addition to representing policyholders in insurance disputes, Mr. Wilson pursues the rights of clients in cases of severe or catastrophic injury, and in actions involving wrongful death. Claims litigated by Mr. Wilson have involved automobile collision, electrical shock, slip and fall, dog attack, negligent security, and other negligence. In addition to those suffering injury or death, Mr. Wilson aids clients who have been wronged by breaches of business contracts, landlord-tenant disputes, and other tortious acts. Mr. Wilson also uses his knowledge of insurance company practices and obligations to hold insurance companies accountable in the insurance disputes and bad faith claims that often arise during such lawsuits.
Mr. Wilson attended the University of Florida, and is a proud supporter of the Florida Gators. In Gainesville, he worked extensively at non-profit law firm Three Rivers Legal Services, representing victims of domestic violence. While there, Mr. Wilson also assisted poor and indigent tenants in landlord-tenant disputes. Mr. Wilson continues his involvement in the community and has donated his time to local charity organization Miami Rescue Mission.
Mr. Wilson is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the Federal Southern District. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
